General Objective of the Project

The project was designed to create child peace ambassadors with the aim:

• to teach the values of tolerance, love, giving, sharing, and acceptance of the other,

• to promote a culture of dialogue, acceptance of differences and communication between community members in a respectful atmosphere,

• to contribute to the dissemination and education of a culture of peace in social hotspots.

The following tools were developed to achieve these goals:

1. Training manual for trainers.

2. “Peace Dice”: Each of its six sides conveys a message through a comic strip: love, sharing, giving, respect, tolerance, acceptance of others.

3. Training curriculum for use in schools: innovative and interactive training tools (games, videos, stories, plays) to be used in 48 training units.

Training workshops and follow-up meetings for educators were set up to build their capacities in teaching children the values of peace.

Sports and Educational Days for Children were held with a total number of 2000 children during which peace dice activities and value games are implemented.

Formation workshops for parents were offered to inform them about the program their children are participating in and to ensure their support and encouragement.

Conclusion with a final event presenting the project and the experiences to prominent people and other organizations.
